These terms apply to your use of ac8gy.com, the personal website of Albert F. Peter, amateur radio call sign AC8GY. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please leave the site.

What the site is

ac8gy.com shares notes from my own projects: amateur radio and shortwave listening, software-defined radio, antennas, a crystal-set receiver, converted computer power supplies, photography, and amateur astronomy. Many pages were written around 2010 and 2011 and are kept online as a record of that work. Dates on those pages describe when the note was added. They are not a promise that a part, a piece of software, or an external link is still available.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is professional electrical engineering, RF-safety certification, or a complete construction manual for your station. Antenna dimensions, power-supply modifications, and operating notes are hobby records. Read the disclaimer before you build anything from these pages. You are responsible for following electrical codes, RF-exposure practice, and the terms of your own amateur license.

Intellectual property

Text, drawings, photographs, and other materials on this site belong to Albert F. Peter unless a page names another author. You may read them, print a copy for your own use, and share a link to a page. You may not copy the materials onto another site, sell them, or present them as your own work without permission. Where a page reprints an article I wrote for a magazine, that page is here for readers of this site. The magazine's own rights, if any, are unchanged.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, scrape in a way that overloads, or misrepresent this site. Do not send unlawful, abusive, or misleading messages. Do not use the site to collect addresses from other visitors.

Links, including links to clubs, the ARRL, and photo hosts, leave this site. I am not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

The site may show third-party advertisements, including ads served by Google. Advertisers are responsible for their ads. A link from an ad is not an endorsement. Advertising cookies are described in the privacy policy.
